We inspect nutritional profiles and ingredients of products to determine their appropriate level of certification.

Products that earn the Ketogenic Approved label contain no banned ingredients, and adhere to the following:

Fats may includes high-oleic safflower oil, canola oil, or other polyunsaturated vegetable oils.

Proteins may include manufactured egg protein.

Natural flavors are acceptable.

Acceptable sweeteners are Stevia, Erythritol, Xylitol, Monk Fruit.
