Robin’s intense interest in Food, Nutrition, and Fitness goes back as far as she can remember. Mainly driven by her own challenges with hormonal changes, food sensitivities and weight gain as a teen, she was influenced by the low calorie and low fat diet fads of the late 70’s and 80’s. The 90’s brought Atkins and then Low-Carb diet trends, which is when Robin started to fully understand the impact of sugar and carbohydrates. She finally found success following a Low-Carb protocol, which eventually led her to the Ketogenic Diet and Lifestyle in 2012.
Having experienced so many of the health benefits of the ketogenic diet, Robin’s fitness protocol now focuses on longevity and includes distance running, yoga and weight training. “This is the lifestyle that will keep me strong, mentally clear, and full of energy throughout the duration of my life. My inherited genetics include tendencies towards Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, Cancer, Depression and Autoimmune Disease. Yet I see improvements in my health year after year”.
Personal experience has allowed Robin to develop an intimate understanding of the Ketogenic Diet and Lifestyle. Combined with her 20 year professional career in Sales and Marketing, she is an expert in understanding what makes a product beneficial, how to sell it, and how to build a popular, successful brand.
